Thorsten Bonacker

is a Professor for Peace and Conflict Studies at the Center for Conflict Studies and the Faculty of Social Science and Philosophy. He holds a PhD from the University of Oldenburg, Germany, and was a guest lecturer at Universities in Innsbruck and Almaty.
Yaas Bahmani

bahmani@students.uni-marburg.de Yaas Bahmani is a student assistant at the Center for Peace and Conflict Studies. She is currently in the process of finishing her master’s degree in clinical psychology and psychotherapy. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in psychology at the University of Mannheim. Her interests in Conflict Studies revolve mainly around Iran and Afghanistan.
